People who know me may say I am weird, but I take that as a compliment. I know that I am not like the average 32-year-old. My fascination for the unknown makes others step back and wonder. My interests range from the highly logical to the total fantasy. Reading and Writing is my passion. If I couldn't read or write, I believe I would die.

Many think they know who I really am, but they just barely scratch the surface. I am a multi-faceted, multi-talented, Black Woman. A Black Woman blessed with gifts that no other Black Woman has. Sure I may seem happy-go-lucky all the time, but I have my dark days as well. I just refuse to let it consume me.

Being a Scorpio, I am "marked" with certain traits. The usual one is "all Scorpios are freaks" not that being called a freak is a bad thing. =) But some use that as a general idea of what I am like. This is untrue. I may crack the occasional joke (OK many jokes) but that's not who I really am. No one has taken time to find out who Tory really is.

No one knows Tory the writer, Tory the romantic, Tory the kind, Tory the brave, or Tory the Sweetheart. I have many emotions that travel and flow like the river Nile. People refuse to see who I really am and therefore that forces my self-isolation. Even my roommates didn't know all about me.

If you ask anyone to describe me in one word, they are most likely to say 'silly' or 'evil'. I really don't think I'm evil, but then again I am a Scorpio *wink*. People who say silly only know me from cracking jokes around friends and such. Those who call me evil are ones that tried to pull some shit on me and didn't get away with it. I refuse to be anyone's carpet, because people aren't carpets.
